Trek deep into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with endangered mountain gorillas. Walk alongside chimpanzees in the dense jungles of Kibale, and witness the raw power of the Nile as it thunders through Murchison Falls. Cruise along the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, elephants, and crocodiles just metres away. Rich in biodiversity and culture, Uganda offers a powerful adventure that’s both humbling and unforgettable.
Best wildlife viewing seasons
The best months for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking are Dec–Feb and Jun–Sep, when trails are drier and wildlife is easier to spot. These dry seasons also offer great conditions for game drives and boat safaris in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park, with clear skies and animals gathering near water sources.
Mar, Oct–Nov are off-peak with mild rains but fewer crowds, easier permit availability, and often shorter treks as gorillas stay closer to the forest edge.
The months to avoid are Apr–May as muddy tracks and heavier showers make travel less ideal.

WALKING WITH WHITE RHINOS
Walk through the savannah grasslands of Ziwa Rhino Wildlife Ranch, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos. Join expert rangers on foot as you quietly approach these powerful yet gentle giants grazing in their natural habitat. TREK AMONG CHIMPANZEES
Venture into the lush rainforest of Kibale National Park, home to the highest density of chimpanzees in East Africa. CRUISE DOWN KAZINGA
