BHUTAN: THE LAND OF HAPPINESS, GRATITUDE AND CULTURE

ABOUT THIS TRIP

Bhutan isn’t a place you just visit. It’s a place that quietly reshapes the way you see the world. Tucked away in the Eastern Himalayas, this is one of the last countries where tradition isn’t preserved for tourists. It’s simply how life is lived. Monks in crimson robes walk alongside school kids. Prayer flags flutter across mountain passes. Time moves slower here, and somehow, that’s exactly what makes everything feel more alive. This journey takes you through Bhutan’s most iconic valleys, from Paro to Phobjikha, and into the heart of its culture. You’ll hike to ancient monasteries perched impossibly on cliffs, share stories with locals, and experience a way of life that places happiness above all else. It’s not just about ticking off sights. It’s about being present, embracing simplicity, and reconnecting with what really matters.

BEST TIME TO GO

The best time to visit Bhutan is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Spring brings blooming rhododendrons and clear mountain views, while autumn offers crisp air, golden landscapes, and some of Bhutan’s most vibrant festivals. These seasons give you the best chance of clear skies, comfortable trekking conditions, and those postcard views of the Himalayas.

HIKE TO TAKTSHANG TIGER'S NEST MONASTERY

Perched dramatically on the edge of a cliff, this is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. The hike itself is as memorable as the destination. As you ascend through pine forests and prayer flags, every turn reveals a new perspective, until you finally stand face-to-face with the monastery. It’s a moment that stays with you long after you leave.

LOVED BY ADVENTURERS WHO TRAVEL WITH US

Bhutan had a quiet pull on me - even weeks after the trip, I’m still thinking about it. I was initially worried this trip might lean too heavily on cultural sightseeing, but it turned out to be perfectly balanced with interactive moments and unique experiences that felt more personal than the usual Bhutan itineraries.

We met a Singaporean couple there travelling with a different group. After comparing itineraries, theirs felt much more packed with sightseeing, which made me appreciate ours even more.

All in all, I fell in love with the vibe of the country and its people, and I’m really glad we experienced it the way we did with Jambo.

Bhutan was truly a memorable experience for me. I really enjoyed interacting with the locals and witnessing a way of life so different from what I’m used to. The country is incredibly scenic, and the warmth and kindness of the Bhutanese people made the journey even more special. I also learnt so much about Bhutan’s rich culture and history throughout the trip. As a videographer who loves capturing stories, this was an inspiring destination that I deeply enjoyed exploring.
