It's here on the vast plains near Ndutu, that you'll experience a true miracle of nature — over half a million wildebeest giving birth within a two- to three-week period. As many as 8,000 wildebeest calves can be born in one day.

Amidst the Tarangire's dusty yellow landscapes and Baobab trees, keep an eye out for its famous tree-climbing lions and African elephant herds.
THE SERENGETI
It's the calving season for Serengeti. Watch predators and prey tough it out in nature's circle of life. With all of these baby wildebeest stumbling around on their wobbly legs, the number of predators in the area reaches an all-time high during this time of the year.
NGORONGORO CRATER
Once a volcano, this ancient crater is now the largest intact caldera in the world, with a huge variety of wildlife including black rhinos, lesser flamingos, and African wild dogs. It's often easier to spot wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater as the landscape is almost entirely flat.
TANZANIAN TRIBES
Experience the day-to-day lives of authentic local tribes. Go on a hunt with the Hadza, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and meet with the Datoga, a semi-nomadic warrior tribe who specialise in blacksmithing.
